A serif display face with old-style proportions, sharp triangular serifs, and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Strokes show intentional print-like wear: roughened edges, mottled fills, and slight wobble that suggests uneven inking. Letterforms are moderately narrow with varied internal spacing, giving words a lively, irregular rhythm. Lowercase forms keep a relatively small x-height with tall ascenders, and the numerals echo the same high-contrast, slightly distressed construction.

Best suited to display settings where the distressed texture can be appreciated—editorial headlines, book covers, event posters, artisanal packaging, and brand marks aiming for an antique or handcrafted feel. It can work for short passages or pull quotes when set with comfortable size and spacing, but it’s most effective in titles and other prominent text.

The overall tone feels vintage and tactile, like type pulled from an aged press or a well-used book plate. Its rough texture and crisp contrast create a handcrafted, storybook character that reads as both classic and slightly eccentric.

Designed to combine traditional serif structure with an intentionally worn, inked texture, creating a historical, printed-from-type impression. The goal appears to be adding personality and atmosphere without losing the underlying readability of classic letterforms.

In longer lines, the texture remains consistent across glyphs, adding atmosphere but also visual noise that becomes more prominent at smaller sizes. The sharp serifs and tapered terminals help keep shapes recognizable, while the distressed interiors add a deliberately imperfect finish.
