A compact blackletter with sharply broken strokes and pointed terminals throughout. Stems are tall and relatively narrow, with clear rhythmic verticality and occasional diamond-like joins that echo pen-nib construction. Curves are faceted into angular arcs (notably in bowls and diagonals), and counters stay tight, giving the face a dense, ink-rich silhouette. Capitals show ornate, asymmetric detailing and strong stroke modulation, while lowercase maintains a consistent, upright ductus with minimal roundness and a steady, text-like cadence. Figures follow the same cut, angular logic, with narrow forms and crisp interior angles.

Best suited for short display settings where its dense texture and ornate construction can be appreciated—headlines, posters, cover titles, certificates, invitations, and identity work that calls for a historic or heraldic voice. It can work for brief passages, but performs most clearly when given generous size and spacing.

The overall tone is historic and ceremonial, evoking manuscript lettering, heraldry, and old-world authority. Its sharpness and compact texture feel formal and imposing, with a dramatic, slightly forbidding presence that reads as traditional rather than casual.

The design appears intended to recreate a disciplined, pen-derived blackletter texture with compact proportions and crisp, broken construction, balancing decorative capitals with a more systematic lowercase for readable, title-oriented composition.

At text sizes the face forms a strong, continuous dark texture, with clear emphasis on vertical strokes and a tight internal spacing feel. The most distinctive character comes from the pointed joins, faceted bowls, and the contrast between elaborate capitals and more repetitive, rhythmic lowercase forms.
