An italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a clear calligraphic rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and relatively sharp, with tapered terminals and a noticeable forward slant throughout. The lowercase shows flowing, oldstyle-style forms with angled entry/exit strokes and a lively baseline movement, while the capitals remain more upright in structure but still carry italic detailing and contrast. Counters are moderately open, and spacing feels slightly variable due to the cursive motion and differing letter widths, creating an energetic texture in text.

Well-suited to editorial typography, long-form reading, and book work where a traditional italic voice is needed. It can also serve effectively for pull quotes, intros, and refined branding applications that benefit from a classic serif italic with visible contrast and movement.

The font conveys a traditional, bookish tone with a refined, expressive edge. Its italic movement and high contrast give it a cultured, editorial feel—confident and formal without becoming rigid.

The design appears intended to provide a conventional, highly legible text serif italic with a distinctly calligraphic flavor. It prioritizes a polished, classical reading texture while adding expressive stroke dynamics for emphasis and hierarchy in composition.

Numerals follow the same high-contrast, italicized construction, reading well in continuous text and leaning toward oldstyle proportions rather than strictly uniform lining behavior. Overall color in paragraphs is dark and crisp, with strong vertical emphasis from thick stems balanced by hairline connections and terminals.
