A compact serif with sharply tapered, wedge-like serifs and subtly calligraphic modulation. Strokes show moderate contrast with crisp, pointed terminals and occasional flared joins, giving the outlines a slightly chiseled, pen-cut feeling. Proportions run relatively narrow with tall capitals and a steady vertical stance, while curves remain smooth and open in letters like C, O, and e. The lowercase includes distinctive shapes such as a single-storey a, a descending-tailed Q, and a curled, left-hooking t terminal, all contributing to an idiosyncratic rhythm without becoming overly ornate.

Well-suited to literary titling, editorial headlines, and book-cover typography where a traditional serif voice with a distinctive edge is desired. It can also support historical or classical themed branding and printed materials such as invitations or programs, especially at medium to larger sizes where the pointed serifs and terminals stay crisp.

The tone reads traditional and bookish, with a hint of antiquarian character reminiscent of classical printing and engraved titling. Its sharp serifs and lively terminals add a mildly dramatic, storybook flavor that feels formal but not austere.

The font appears designed to deliver a familiar serif foundation while injecting personality through tapered serifs, sharp terminals, and a few intentionally uncommon lowercase decisions. The aim seems to be a readable, classical texture that still feels custom and characterful for display-forward applications.

The design balances consistency with a handful of expressive details, so it feels appropriate for display sizes while remaining coherent in longer sample text. Numerals follow the same tapered, slightly calligraphic logic, with clear differentiation and strong vertical emphasis.
