This is a slanted serif design with sharp, finely tapered hairlines and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Serifs are narrow and pointed, often wedge-like, and many strokes end in crisp, angled terminals that heighten the calligraphic feel. Uppercase forms are slightly condensed and formal, while lowercase characters show more movement through curved entry/exit strokes and occasional ball terminals. Overall spacing feels open enough for text, with an energetic rhythm created by the italic angle and high-contrast strokes.

It suits editorial typography such as magazine features, book interiors, and pull quotes where an elegant italic voice is needed. It can also work well for formal invitations, cultured branding, and packaging that benefits from a classic, high-contrast serif presence.

The font conveys a polished, bookish elegance—confident and traditional, but with enough flourish to feel lively rather than purely formal. Its tone suggests craft and sophistication, aligning well with literary and editorial contexts where a sense of refinement is desired.

The design appears intended to provide a conventional text-serif foundation with an expressive italic character—balancing readability and tradition with a pronounced, calligraphy-influenced contrast and sharp finishing details.

Figures follow the same slanted, high-contrast logic as the letters, with curving forms and tapered joins that keep numerals visually consistent in text. Round letters (like O/o) have strong internal contrast and a slightly dynamic, written quality, while diagonals and arches maintain a crisp, chiseled edge.
