A slab-serif, typewriter-inspired design with sturdy, low-contrast strokes and a generally wide stance. The outlines are intentionally roughened, with uneven edges, ink spread, and occasional nicks that make each character feel printed through worn machinery. Serifs are blunt and rectangular, terminals are heavy, and counters stay fairly open despite the texture. Spacing reads consistent and steady in text, while the distressed perimeter introduces lively irregularity without sacrificing overall legibility.

Well-suited to display and short-to-medium passages where a tactile, printed character is desired—such as posters, book covers, labels, and packaging. It also works for editorial-style headlines or pull quotes that aim for an archival, documentary tone, and for branding that benefits from a rugged, analog finish.

The font conveys an analog, mechanical grit—like a vintage document pulled from an old file cabinet, stamped, photocopied, and reprinted. Its rough texture adds urgency and authenticity, suggesting reportage, evidence, or handmade production rather than polished editorial refinement.

The design appears intended to merge classic typewriter structure with deliberate wear, simulating imperfect ink transfer and aged printing. It prioritizes a recognizable, utilitarian skeleton while using controlled distress to inject atmosphere and texture.

In running text the distressing appears as soft burrs and speckled bite marks along stems and serifs, giving a convincing ink-on-paper impression. Uppercase forms feel strong and poster-ready, while lowercase maintains a pragmatic, workmanlike rhythm; numerals match the same worn imprint and solid weight.
