A lightly built, serifed text face with visibly irregular outlines and subtly uneven stroke edges, as if pulled from worn letterpress type or a rough inked impression. Serifs are small and bracketed, with softened terminals and occasional blunted corners that create a gently distressed contour without breaking the letterforms. Proportions feel traditional and bookish, with round counters in O/C and modestly narrow apertures; spacing reads even in text while individual glyphs retain slight width and shape variability that reinforces a handmade rhythm. Numerals follow the same softened, slightly wobbly construction, with open, readable forms and understated contrast.

Well suited to long-form editorial and book typography where a traditional serif voice with a touch of texture is desired. It also fits packaging, labels, and boutique branding that benefit from an artisanal or heritage feel, and works in posters or headings when a subtle distressed print character is needed without sacrificing readability.

The overall tone is warm and tactile, suggesting printed paper, aging ink, and craft-made typography. It carries an old-world, literary character that feels approachable rather than formal, with just enough wear to add personality and atmosphere.

The design appears intended to evoke the feel of imperfect printing—like aged metal type or a rough press run—combining classic serif proportions with controlled irregularity for character and warmth in continuous text.

Distress is expressed primarily through edge texture and mild shape wobble rather than heavy erosion, keeping text comfortably legible at typical reading sizes. Curves and joins look slightly swollen or ink-trapped in places, enhancing the analog, imperfect impression.
