A serifed text face with deliberately rough, uneven contours that mimic worn printing or hand-inked letterforms. Strokes show moderate thick–thin modulation and frequent nicks, blobs, and tapered terminals, giving each glyph a slightly different edge treatment. Serifs are small and irregular, counters are open and softly shaped, and the overall rhythm feels lively rather than rigidly mechanical. Numerals and lowercase forms follow the same distressed treatment, with a slightly bouncy baseline impression created by irregular terminals and varied curve tension.

Best suited to display and short-to-medium setting where texture is an asset: posters, book covers, titles, pull quotes, packaging, labels, and branding for craft or vintage-themed products. It can work for brief body copy in larger sizes where the distressed detail remains legible and contributes to the intended atmosphere.

The font conveys a nostalgic, handmade tone with a lightly mischievous, storybook character. Its distressed texture suggests age, analog production, or printed ephemera, while the quirky irregularities keep it friendly and informal rather than severe. Overall it feels artisan, theatrical, and a bit gothic-folk in flavor without becoming overtly ornamental.

The design appears intended to emulate imperfect, analog letterpress or hand-printed typography while preserving familiar serif text proportions for readability. Its goal is to add instant character and age through controlled roughness, giving designers a textured, narrative-friendly voice for themed compositions.

In longer text, the textured edges remain prominent and become a key part of the color of the page, making the type feel more illustrative than purely utilitarian. The irregularities are consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and figures, so the distressed effect reads as intentional and cohesive rather than accidental.
