A slanted serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp hairlines that stay clean at display sizes. Serifs are fine and bracketed, with a calligraphic, slightly pen-driven rhythm and tapered terminals. The capitals feel stately and open, while the lowercase is more fluid, with a single-storey “a,” lively joins, and long, graceful extenders; overall spacing is moderate with a smooth, even texture in text.

Well-suited to editorial design, long-form reading, and literary or cultural publishing where an elegant italic voice is needed. It also performs nicely for refined headlines, pull quotes, invitations, and upscale branding that benefits from a classic, calligraphic serif texture.

The tone is polished and traditional, evoking classic book typography and formal editorial styling. Its high-contrast sparkle and italic movement lend a sense of sophistication, romance, and cultivated authority rather than casual utility.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif italic with heightened contrast and a graceful, traditional construction, aiming to provide an expressive yet readable voice for continuous text and polished display settings.

Curved forms (notably in C, G, O, Q, and the lowercase bowls) show careful modulation and a consistent diagonal stress. Numerals are similarly slanted and contrasty, reading well as part of running text while still feeling refined and slightly decorative.
