A slanted serif with crisp bracketed serifs and a measured, text-oriented rhythm. Strokes show a clear broad-nib influence: gently modulated thick–thin contrast, tapered terminals, and slightly cupped joins that keep counters open. The capitals are stately and well-proportioned, while the lowercase has flowing entry/exit strokes and italic-specific forms (notably a single-storey a) that reinforce forward movement. Numerals appear old-style with varied heights and descenders, blending naturally with lowercase text rather than standing as rigid lining figures.

Well-suited for book interiors, magazines, essays, and other extended reading contexts where an italic serif is needed for emphasis, quotations, or secondary typographic voice. It also works for refined branding, cultural programs, and formal invitations where a classic, text-serious personality is desired.

The overall tone is traditional and literary, with an editorial polish that feels appropriate for established institutions and long-form reading. Its italic slant and calligraphic detailing add a touch of elegance and human warmth without becoming decorative.

Designed to provide a conventional, readable serif italic with enough calligraphic character to feel authentic in continuous text. The inclusion of old-style numerals suggests an emphasis on harmonious typography in traditional editorial and book settings.

Spacing appears even and comfortable at text sizes, with a smooth diagonal cadence typical of true italics. Several glyphs show gently curved arms and tails (such as in e, f, y, and z), contributing to a lively texture while maintaining restraint.
