This typeface presents a sharply angular, faceted serif construction with pronounced wedge-like terminals and frequent chamfered corners that give strokes a cut-stone look. Curves are minimized in favor of straight segments and octagonal/diamond-like counters, most evident in rounds such as O, C, and G. Stems stay relatively even while the joins and terminals introduce crisp, high-contrast-looking edges through pointed beaks, notches, and small triangular cuts. The lowercase maintains a compact presence with a notably short x-height and narrow apertures, while the capitals read tall and sculptural with strong vertical emphasis and crisp top serifs.

Best suited to display settings where its carved, angular detailing can be appreciated—such as headlines, titles, branding marks, and thematic packaging. It works particularly well for fantasy, historical, or occult-leaning visual systems, and for short bursts of text where strong atmosphere is desired.

The overall tone feels historic and ceremonial, evoking blackletter-adjacent signage and engraved inscription work rather than book typography. Its sharp cuts and hard geometry create a forceful, slightly ominous mood that can read as mystical, martial, or heraldic depending on context.

The design appears intended to translate an engraved or chiseled blackletter-inspired feel into a more Roman serif skeleton, prioritizing dramatic texture and iconic letterforms. It emphasizes silhouette, sharp terminals, and faceted counters to create a distinctive, period-flavored display voice.

Spacing appears intentionally open in the sample text to preserve clarity around the many pointed details, and the texture becomes distinctly patterned at larger sizes. Several glyphs show distinctive internal facets and stepped bowls (notably in B, D, P, and 8/9), reinforcing the ornamental, carved aesthetic.
