A heavy slab-serif design with broad, blocky proportions and slightly condensed counters. Strokes show consistent weight with subtle contrast, while edges and interior joins are intentionally roughened, creating a worn print texture that varies from glyph to glyph. Serifs are sturdy and rectangular with softened, irregular corners, and curves (C, G, O) maintain a firm, poster-like roundness despite the distressed contouring. The lowercase is compact and sturdy, with single-storey forms and a generally even rhythm that reads clearly at display sizes while keeping a hand-printed unevenness.

Best suited to display applications such as posters, labels, packaging, menus, event graphics, and signage where the distressed texture can be appreciated. It can also work for short headlines or logo wordmarks that want a rugged, retro-printed feel, but the rough detailing may compete with readability in long text or small sizes.

The overall tone feels vintage and workmanlike, like aged letterpress or stamped signage. The distressed texture adds a casual, slightly mischievous character that can read as nostalgic, rustic, or theatrical depending on context.

The design appears intended to evoke classic slab-serif woodtype and rough printing artifacts, delivering a bold, attention-grabbing voice with built-in texture. It prioritizes character and atmosphere over pristine outlines, aiming for a tactile, lived-in impression.

Numbers and capitals carry the strongest “poster” presence, with deliberate imperfections that suggest ink spread, chipping, or worn type. The texture is prominent enough to become a key visual feature, so spacing and background contrast will strongly affect perceived darkness.
