A display-oriented serif with strongly sculpted wedge serifs and sharp, triangular beak-like terminals. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation, with heavy verticals contrasted by hairline-like joins and crisp, tapering horizontals. The letterforms are wide and stately, with compact internal counters and a slightly calligraphic, chiseled feel to curves and joins. Lowercase features sturdy, wide proportions, a single-storey g with an expressive ear, and a round i dot; numerals are similarly high-contrast with sweeping feet and pointed terminals.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, and other large-size settings where its high contrast and distinctive wedge serifs can be appreciated. It works well for magazine and book-cover typography, branding wordmarks, and pull quotes that need a formal, attention-grabbing voice.

The overall tone is bold and ceremonial, combining classic serif authority with a theatrical, high-impact presence. Its sharp serifs and dramatic contrast read as editorial and traditionally “print” in character, suited to emphatic statements rather than quiet utility.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif foundation with heightened contrast and sharpened, flared terminals for maximum impact. Its proportions and dense color suggest a focus on display use, aiming for an authoritative editorial look with a stylized, carved finish.

Texture in lines of text appears dark and rhythmic, with prominent serifs creating a strong horizontal cadence. Several caps (notably with diagonals and curved joins) emphasize pointed spur details that increase sparkle at larger sizes while making the face feel more ornamental at smaller sizes.
