A high-contrast serif with crisp hairlines and firm vertical stems, showing a distinctly calligraphic stress and bracketed serifs that taper to sharp points. Curves are smooth and generously proportioned, with relatively open counters and a composed, even rhythm in text. Uppercase forms feel dignified and slightly narrow in presence, while the lowercase shows elegant modulation, a two-storey “g,” and a gently angled crossbar on “e.” Numerals align with the same refined contrast and slender joins, keeping the overall texture light and precise on the page.

Well suited to book interiors, editorial layouts, and magazine typography where a refined serif voice is desired. It also works effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and formal materials such as invitations or programs, especially when paired with generous spacing and high-quality printing or screen rendering.

The font projects a polished, traditional tone—quietly luxurious rather than loud—suited to settings where restraint and authority matter. Its sharp finishing details and classical proportions lend an editorial, literary mood that reads as cultivated and intentional.

The design appears aimed at delivering a conventional, classical reading experience with an elevated, editorial finish—combining traditional serif construction with a deliberately delicate, high-contrast cut for elegance in both display and text settings.

At larger sizes the fine terminals and hairlines become a key part of the personality, giving headings a poised sparkle. In extended text, the strong thick–thin modulation creates a clean, airy color, with punctuation and the ampersand matching the same formal, old-style sensibility.
