A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flaring stroke terminals and crisply bracketed serifs. The letterforms show pronounced thick–thin modulation, with narrow joins and sharp triangular wedges on diagonals (notably in V, W, X, Y) and distinctive tapered arms and cross-strokes. Counters are relatively open and round where expected (C, G, O), while verticals feel sturdy and slightly faceted, giving a carved, display-forward rhythm. Lowercase forms keep a traditional book-face structure with compact bowls and clear differentiation, and figures mix strong verticals with elegant curves, producing a refined, slightly dramatic texture in text.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazine headlines, book covers, section openers, and pull quotes where contrast and sharp detailing can be appreciated. It also fits branding for institutions or products aiming for a classic, premium voice, and can work in short-to-medium text blocks at comfortable sizes with adequate leading.

The overall tone is formal and literary, with a confident, old-world polish. Its sharp, flared details and strong contrast convey authority and prestige, leaning toward a traditional, editorial sensibility rather than casual or utilitarian settings.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif proportions with more expressive, flared endings and crisp wedges, creating a refined display texture that still reads like a conventional text serif. The goal seems to be a dignified, high-contrast voice with distinctive terminal shaping for personality in headlines and titling.

In running text the font creates a lively sparkle from the contrast and the pointed terminals, especially around diagonals and the ends of horizontals. The uppercase feels more monumental and sculptural, while the lowercase maintains readability but keeps a stylized edge through the tapered terminals and bracket transitions.
