A condensed, upright serif with sharp, triangular terminals and bracketed joins, set with a relatively tight horizontal footprint and crisp vertical rhythm. Strokes show noticeable contrast, with robust verticals and finer connecting strokes, while the edges carry a consistent distressed texture that suggests rough impression or worn type. Counters are compact and slightly irregular, and the overall silhouette reads firm and angular, especially in capitals. Numerals and lowercase follow the same narrow proportions and textured edge treatment, keeping a cohesive, press-like color in text.

Well-suited to display uses where texture is an advantage: posters, headlines, packaging, labels, and book or album covers. It can also work for short editorial pull quotes or chapter openers where a vintage, printed feel is desired, especially at medium-to-large sizes.

The font conveys a vintage, workmanlike tone—part old-print ephemera, part frontier or workshop signage. Its worn texture adds grit and tactility, while the high-contrast structure keeps it bold and theatrical. Overall it feels historic and handcrafted rather than polished or corporate.

The design appears intended to combine a traditional condensed serif structure with deliberate wear and ink texture, evoking aged letterpress or stamped printing. It prioritizes character and atmosphere while maintaining a clear, upright reading flow for display typography.

In longer passages the distressed edges create a speckled, inky surface; at small sizes that texture may visually fill in lighter strokes, while at larger sizes it becomes a prominent stylistic feature. The condensed widths and emphatic capitals make it especially assertive in short lines and stacked settings.
