A formal, right-leaning calligraphic italic with smooth, pen-like curves and subtly bracketed, serifed terminals. Strokes stay fairly even in thickness, with gentle modulation that reads more as broad-pen shaping than high-contrast engraving. Letterforms are generously set and slightly expansive, with rounded bowls, softly tapered joins, and occasional swash-like entry/exit strokes (notably in capitals). Lowercase forms keep a relatively small x-height and open counters, creating an airy rhythm, while numerals follow the same slanted, flowing construction for consistent texture in mixed settings.

Well-suited to invitations, announcements, and formal notes where an elegant italic voice is desired. It can also serve display roles for headings, pull quotes, and short passages on book covers or editorial layouts, especially when paired with a restrained roman companion for body text.

The font conveys a traditional, cultured tone—polished and courteous rather than flashy. Its calligraphic movement feels human and inviting, suggesting classic correspondence, bookish refinement, and understated ceremony.

The design appears intended to provide a dignified, calligraphy-informed italic that balances flourish with usability. It aims for classic charm and legible rhythm, giving designers a refined script-like alternative that remains unconnected and typographically structured.

Capitals show the most flourish, with curved spurs and looped strokes that add personality without becoming highly decorative. The italic angle is pronounced enough to feel dynamic, yet the curves remain controlled and readable, producing a smooth line when set in text.
