A conventional serif with bracketed serifs, softly rounded terminals, and moderate stroke modulation. The letterforms show sturdy proportions and a slightly organic, calligraphic flow, with curved strokes that thicken into gentle feet rather than sharp, abrupt endings. Counters are open and well-shaped, and the overall color on the page is even, producing a stable text rhythm. Numerals and capitals follow the same classic serif logic, with clear forms and restrained detailing that keeps the face practical for continuous reading.

Well-suited to long-form reading such as books, essays, and magazine or journal layouts, where its steady rhythm and classic serif structure support comfortable paragraphs. It can also serve in formal documents, reports, and headings that benefit from a traditional, authoritative voice without excessive ornament.

The font reads as classic and bookish, projecting a measured, established tone associated with editorial and institutional typography. Its softened serifs and moderate contrast add warmth while maintaining formality, making it feel dependable rather than flashy.

The design appears intended as a general-purpose text serif: recognizable, readable, and balanced, with enough modulation and serif shaping to feel classical while remaining robust across a range of sizes.

In setting, the face maintains a steady texture with clear differentiation between similar characters, and the slightly rounded shaping helps avoid brittleness at display sizes. The design favors clarity and familiarity over novelty, with details that feel rooted in traditional text-seriffed models.
