A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp hairline serifs. The letterforms show a largely vertical stress and an upright stance, with sharp, clean terminals and finely tapered strokes that create a sparkling rhythm in text. Proportions feel traditional and slightly compact in the lowercase due to a relatively short x-height, while capitals read stately and structured. Numerals and punctuation echo the same calligraphic contrast, with slender diagonals and carefully shaped bowls that emphasize elegance over ruggedness.

Well-suited to magazine typography, book titles, pull quotes, and brand wordmarks where high contrast and refined serifs can be appreciated. It performs especially well at display sizes and in high-quality print or crisp digital rendering, and can also work for short blocks of text when sufficient size and spacing preserve the hairline details.

The overall tone is polished and literary, evoking classic book typography and fashion-led editorial design. Its contrast and sharp detailing convey sophistication and a sense of formality, with a slightly dramatic flair at larger sizes.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on conventional serif typography: a readable, upright structure paired with striking contrast and finely finished serifs for an elevated, editorial presence.

In continuous text the thin strokes and narrow joins can visually recede, while the heavier verticals dominate, producing a lively, shimmering texture. The ampersand and curvier lowercase forms add a gentle, old-style character that complements the more stately capitals.
