A condensed, vertical display face built from solid rectangular tiles that contain carved, negative-space letterforms. The glyphs are formed by sharp, chiseled counters and tapered notches, creating abrupt transitions between thick masses and thin slivers. Strokes feel hand-cut rather than drawn, with purposeful irregularities, uneven apertures, and occasional wedge-like terminals that add a jagged rhythm. Spacing and widths vary noticeably from glyph to glyph, and the overall texture reads as a sequence of dark blocks punctuated by bright interior cut-outs.

Best suited for short, high-impact settings such as posters, headlines, title sequences, album covers, and bold packaging moments where the block-and-cutout structure can read cleanly. It works especially well when you want a tiled, label-like strip of text or a dramatic, high-contrast typographic graphic.

The tone is tense and graphic, with a covert, poster-like presence that suggests warning labels, coded messages, or pulp-era intrigue. Its harsh cut-ins and high-contrast silhouettes give it a dramatic, slightly sinister edge while still feeling playful and crafted.

The design appears intended to mimic letters carved out of solid blocks, flipping the usual figure/ground relationship so the character is defined by negative space. The irregular cuts and condensed proportions prioritize attitude and texture over neutral readability, aiming for a striking display voice.

Because each character sits within a strong rectangular mass, word shapes become highly modular and banded; this emphasizes rhythm over conventional letter spacing. The most distinctive identity comes from the inner cut shapes, so clarity depends on keeping sizes large enough for the narrow openings to remain legible.
