A high-contrast italic serif with strongly modulated strokes and sharp, bracketed serifs. The letterforms lean with an even, consistent angle and show calligraphic tapering at terminals, producing crisp joins and pointed finishes. Capitals are relatively narrow and elegant, while the lowercase has compact counters and a flowing rhythm, with ascenders and descenders that add vertical animation. Numerals follow the same italic stress and contrast, with curved forms and pronounced stroke thinning in turns and terminals.

Works well for editorial typography where italic voice is needed—introductions, quotations, captions, and emphasized passages. It also suits refined headlines, literary covers, and formal materials such as invitations or certificates, where its crisp contrast and calligraphic rhythm can be shown at larger sizes.

The overall tone is polished and literary, evoking classical book typography and formal editorial styling. Its slanted, high-contrast construction reads as sophisticated and a touch dramatic, suited to expressive emphasis without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended as a classic, text-oriented italic with strong calligraphic influence, pairing an elegant slant with decisive thick–thin modulation to deliver both readability and a cultivated, traditional voice.

In text, the pronounced contrast and narrow-ish proportions create a lively sparkle, especially in diagonals and curves, while the strong italic entry/exit strokes give words a continuous, forward-moving cadence. The ampersand and round letters stand out with pronounced thick–thin transitions that add personality in display sizes.
