A high-contrast serif with distinctly tapered, flaring terminals and sharp, triangular entry/exit cuts that give many strokes a chiseled, calligraphic feel. Serifs are bracketed and often wedge-like rather than blocky, with strong thick–thin modulation through curves and joins. The uppercase shows steady, traditional proportions with confident verticals and open bowls, while the lowercase mixes sturdy stems with crisp, pointed terminals and a readable, moderately sized x-height. Numerals echo the same contrast and terminal shaping, with a classic lining rhythm and pronounced axis in rounded forms.

Well-suited for editorial headlines, magazine typography, and book work where a classic serif voice with extra bite is desired. It can also support branding and packaging that benefit from refined, traditional cues and strong letterform personality, especially at display sizes.

The overall tone is polished and literary, projecting a sense of tradition and authority. Its sharp terminals and dramatic contrast add a slightly theatrical, headline-ready elegance while still feeling grounded in bookish, editorial typography.

The design appears intended to reinterpret a classic serif model with pronounced contrast and flared, wedge-like terminals to increase drama and distinction. It balances conventional proportions with sharper detailing to remain readable while delivering a more sculpted, attention-getting texture.

Spacing reads even and deliberate, supporting continuous text in the sample while preserving a lively sparkle from the contrast. The triangular terminal language is consistent across letters and figures, giving the design a cohesive, carved-on-stone character without becoming a slab serif.
