This typeface combines slender main strokes with pronounced stroke modulation and tapered, flared terminals that behave like softened wedge serifs. Curves are drawn with a smooth, calligraphic sweep and tight apertures, while diagonals and joins stay crisp and controlled. Capitals feel stately and slightly condensed with clean vertical stress, and the numerals echo the same thin–thick rhythm with delicate, hairline details. Overall spacing reads measured and even, producing a calm, lightly textured page color despite the strong contrast.

It performs best in display and short-to-medium text settings where its contrast and flared detailing can be appreciated—magazine headlines, book titles, pull quotes, and refined branding. It can also suit formal printed pieces such as invitations or programs, where a classic, cultivated tone is desired.

The tone is poised and editorial, with a quiet sense of sophistication. Its flared endings and sharp transitions evoke a bookish, classical atmosphere—formal without feeling heavy. The overall impression is polished and cultured, suited to contexts that benefit from a touch of ceremony.

The font appears designed to deliver a traditional serif voice with added finesse from flared, calligraphy-informed terminals. The goal seems to be an elegant, high-contrast reading experience that feels literary and premium while remaining controlled and legible in composed text.

The design’s character comes through most strongly in the tapered terminals and the way round letters (like C, G, O, and e) maintain a consistent, refined stress. Lowercase forms keep a traditional rhythm, and the sharpness of the contrast makes the font look especially crisp at display sizes.
