A finely drawn serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharp, tapered terminals. Serifs are bracketed and generally small, with a crisp, chiseled feel rather than heavy slabs. The lowercase shows humanist, oldstyle influence: rounded bowls, a two-storey “a,” a gently angled stress, and a flowing “g” with an ear. Capitals are stately and slightly narrow in impression, with delicate hairlines and carefully controlled curves; numerals follow the same refined, text-oriented rhythm.

This face is well suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts, where its refined contrast and traditional proportions can carry a sophisticated page color. It also works effectively for headings, pull quotes, and formal printed materials such as programs, certificates, and invitations.

The overall tone is traditional and cultured, suggesting book typography and editorial seriousness. Its high-contrast detailing and clean finishing give it a dignified, premium voice suited to established institutions and classic branding.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif with classic proportions and a polished, high-end finish—balancing readability with a distinctly elegant, oldstyle character.

In the text sample, spacing reads even and measured, supporting continuous reading while maintaining a distinctly bright, engraved-looking texture. The italic is not shown; the displayed style relies on roman forms with calligraphic inflections in curves and terminals.
