A slanted serif design with oldstyle proportions and a clear, calligraphic construction. Strokes show moderate thick–thin modulation and smooth joins, with bracketed serifs that read crisp without becoming sharp or spiky. The italic angle is steady across the set, producing a lively rhythm; lowercase forms are slightly compact with softly rounded bowls and tapered terminals. Numerals follow the same italic logic, with open counters and gently curved strokes that keep the texture even in continuous text.

Well suited to editorial typography such as book interiors, long-form articles, prefaces, and pull quotes where an italic with traditional manners is desired. It can also serve in formal stationery and invitations, or as a secondary typeface for emphasis and commentary in layouts that already use a roman companion.

The overall tone is bookish and cultivated, evoking traditional publishing and correspondence rather than a loud display voice. Its motion and curvature add warmth and elegance, while the conventional serif vocabulary keeps it credible for serious, text-forward settings.

The design appears intended as a conventional, highly readable italic serif that brings classical refinement and a touch of handwritten movement to text. Its balanced contrast and familiar serif shapes suggest a focus on sustained reading and typographic harmony rather than novelty.

In the sample paragraphs, spacing and diagonals create a consistent rightward flow, and the capitals retain a restrained, classical presence that pairs naturally with the energetic lowercase. Curved letters (C, O, Q, e, c) emphasize smooth, continuous contours, helping long passages maintain a comfortable, cohesive color.
