A condensed, high-contrast display sans with sharply faceted corners and clipped terminals that create an engraved, beveled look. Stems read as heavy vertical slabs, while horizontals and joins often reduce to thin hairlines, producing a strong light–dark rhythm. Counters are narrow and geometric, with frequent octagonal shaping in rounded letters and numerals. The lowercase keeps a relatively straightforward skeleton but adopts the same angular cuts and tapered joins, giving the family a consistent, chiseled texture across text.

Best suited to large sizes where its hairline cross-strokes and carved details remain crisp—headlines, posters, title treatments, branding marks, and packaging labels. It can also work for short signage-style lines or chapter headings, but the extreme contrast and tight proportions make it less comfortable for long-form reading at small sizes.

The overall tone is gothic-leaning and severe, suggesting signage, metalwork, and architectural lettering. Its dramatic contrast and rigid geometry feel authoritative and ceremonial, with a vintage-industrial edge rather than a friendly or casual voice.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on gothic/engraved display lettering using a sans framework: condensed proportions, strong vertical emphasis, and faceted cuts that mimic chiseled or stamped forms. The goal is high impact and a distinctive, architectural texture rather than neutrality.

Several forms emphasize verticality (notably in H, M, N, and U), and round characters like O/Q/0 become polygonal with pronounced corner cuts. Diagonals (V, W, X, Y) are taut and sharp, and the numerals follow the same faceted construction, keeping the set cohesive in headlines and numeric-heavy layouts.
