A serif display face with compact proportions and a hand-inked, irregular outline. Strokes show consistent structure but intentionally uneven edges, with a distinctive peppered/speckled texture inside the letterforms that mimics worn printing or stippled ink. Serifs are small and slightly flared, counters are moderately open, and curves have a lively, slightly wobbly rhythm. Overall spacing and widths vary from glyph to glyph, reinforcing an organic, printed-by-hand feel while remaining legible at display sizes.

Well-suited to posters, headlines, and short-form display text where the stippled distress can read clearly. It works especially well for book covers, event promos, labels/packaging, and branding that wants an aged print, handcrafted, or Halloween-season flavor. For longer passages, it’s best used at larger sizes or in limited bursts to keep the texture from becoming visually busy.

The texture and uneven contouring create a nostalgic, slightly eerie tone—like distressed letterpress or aged poster type. It reads as whimsical and characterful rather than severe, lending a storybook or sideshow energy with a hint of gothic theatricality.

The design appears intended to combine a traditional serif skeleton with a deliberately worn, ink-stippled treatment, evoking vintage printing and handmade imperfections. Its variable rhythm and textured fill prioritize character and atmosphere over neutral, continuous reading.

The speckled interior pattern is a defining feature and remains visible across capitals, lowercase, and numerals, giving a cohesive distressed print effect. The design maintains clear letter differentiation, but the roughened details suggest it will look best when the texture can be resolved and not lost to small rendering.
