A high-contrast serif with an engraved inline treatment that splits many strokes into dark outer shells with a light channel through the middle. Capitals are wide and stately with sharp, tapered serifs and a pronounced vertical stress, while curves (C, O, Q) show dramatic thick–thin modulation. The lowercase maintains a moderate x-height and compact joins, with a distinctive two-storey g and crisp, narrow terminals; overall spacing feels generous and display-oriented, letting the interior linework read clearly. Numerals follow the same engraved logic, mixing hairline details with bold outer contours for a sculpted, poster-like rhythm.

Best suited to display settings where its engraved interior and sharp contrast can hold detail—headlines, cover lines, branding marks, packaging, invitations, and theatrical or editorial titling. It will be most effective at medium-to-large sizes with ample spacing, where the inline cuts remain distinct and the high-contrast hairlines don’t visually disappear.

The inline carving and extreme contrast evoke luxury print, classic signage, and theatrical titling. It reads as refined but attention-seeking—more couture magazine than body-text—bringing a sense of vintage glamour and deliberate ornament.

Designed to reinterpret a classic high-fashion serif through an engraved, inline aesthetic, emphasizing craft, ornament, and dramatic contrast. The goal appears to be a striking display face that feels both traditional in structure and modern in its cut-out, showpiece styling.

The inline channel is not purely uniform: it behaves like an internal engraving that tracks the stroke direction, creating lively, slightly calligraphic highlights in bowls and along stems. In text, this produces a shimmering texture that rewards larger sizes and clean reproduction.
