This typeface presents a dense, blackletter-inspired texture with strongly angular construction and a pronounced vertical emphasis. Strokes end in sharp, broken terminals and small wedge-like notches, creating a rugged, cut-out silhouette rather than smooth pen modulation. Counters are tight and irregularly faceted, while joins and shoulders form pointed arches that reinforce the rhythmic, columnar pattern across words. The alphabet shows consistent black massing with slightly uneven edges and decorative bite marks that add a handmade, distressed finish.

Best suited to short display settings where texture and historical flavor are the priority—such as posters, album/merch graphics, branding marks, and punchy headlines. It can work for themed packaging or event titles when set with ample tracking and generous line spacing to preserve character separation.

The overall tone feels gothic and archaic, suggesting manuscripts, heraldry, and ritual lettering. Its dark weight and jagged details lend an ominous, dramatic character that reads as intense and confrontational rather than friendly or casual.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional gothic lettering while introducing a rough, hand-worn surface through irregular cuts, nicks, and broken edges. Its emphasis on dense color and vertical rhythm suggests a focus on impact and atmosphere over long-form readability.

In text, the condensed rhythm produces a strong “wall of black” color, with distinctive spurs and interior cuts helping separate similar forms. Uppercase letters appear especially ornamental and emphatic, while lowercase maintains a tighter, more repetitive cadence; numerals follow the same angular, carved aesthetic.
