A flared serif with wedge-like terminals and subtly tapering strokes that broaden into the ends, giving the outlines a carved, calligraphic feel. The proportions are moderately compact with a steady rhythm, and the curves are full without becoming soft, keeping counters fairly open in both upper- and lowercase. Serifs and terminals are pointed and slightly splayed rather than blunt, and the overall contrast reads as moderate, with visible thick–thin modulation but not a high-fashion hairline look. Numerals share the same flared, tapered logic and appear clear and sturdy at text sizes.

Well-suited to long-form reading such as books, essays, and editorial layouts where the moderate contrast and open counters support readability. The distinctive flared terminals also make it effective for headlines, pull quotes, and branding systems that want a traditional serif voice with a crafted edge.

The tone is classic and literary, evoking traditional book typography with a slightly artisanal, hand-shaped edge. It feels formal and authoritative, but the flared endings add warmth and character compared to a more strictly transitional serif.

The design appears intended to bridge classic, text-oriented serif construction with expressive flared stroke endings, adding personality without sacrificing a stable reading texture. It prioritizes a recognizable, traditional voice that can work in both continuous text and display settings.

The italic is not shown; all samples present an upright roman. The face maintains consistent flare and taper across rounds and diagonals, which creates a distinctive sparkle in text while keeping letterforms conventional enough for comfortable reading.
