This typeface presents a high-contrast serif voice with distinctly flared stroke endings that swell into pointed, wedge-like terminals. Curves are smooth and controlled, while joins and corners stay crisp, creating a lively thick–thin rhythm. Uppercase forms feel stately with generous vertical emphasis, and the lowercase maintains a traditional, readable construction with a two-storey a and g, compact apertures, and neatly tapered entry strokes. Numerals share the same calligraphic modulation, reading clearly at display sizes and holding a consistent, polished color in text.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, and refined subheads where contrast and sharp terminals can carry personality. It also fits book covers and cultural branding that want a classic, literary feel, and can work for formal materials like invitations when set with ample size and leading.

The overall tone is formal and cultured, with an editorial sophistication that suggests prestige and craft. Its sharp, flaring terminals add a subtle dramatic edge—more expressive than a neutral book face—while still staying disciplined and traditional.

The design appears intended to merge traditional serif proportions with a more sculptural, flared terminal treatment, delivering a recognizable signature in display use while remaining composed enough for longer passages. The strong thick–thin modulation and pointed endings emphasize elegance and clarity over blunt sturdiness.

Stroke modulation is pronounced but not overly delicate, and the flared serifs create a sculpted silhouette that stands out in headlines. Spacing in the sample text appears balanced for continuous reading, while the distinctive terminals and contrast make it especially noticeable in larger settings.
