A condensed display serif with tall proportions, strong vertical stress, and sharp thick–thin transitions. Stems are heavily weighted while hairlines and joins stay comparatively fine, producing a punchy rhythm at large sizes. Serifs are bracketed and often flare into wedge-like or hooked terminals, with frequent internal notches and sculpted counters that give many letters a carved, woodtype-like silhouette. Curves are tight and upright, and the overall texture is dense and vertical, with distinctive, slightly idiosyncratic forms across capitals, lowercase, and numerals.

This font excels in posters, headlines, and mastheads where its tall, sculpted letterforms can dominate the page. It also suits branding, packaging, and signage that wants a vintage-industrial or western-tinged voice. For longer passages, it works best as a short display face—pull quotes, titles, or small blocks—rather than continuous reading.

The tone feels bold and theatrical, mixing vintage signage energy with a slightly ominous, noir-like stiffness. Its condensed stance and chiseled details read as assertive and dramatic, suggesting heritage, craft, and a touch of eccentricity rather than quiet neutrality.

The letterforms appear designed to evoke historic display typography with a carved or stamped aesthetic, prioritizing presence and character over neutrality. Its condensed build and dramatic contrast suggest an intent to maximize impact in limited horizontal space while retaining a distinctive, decorative serif signature.

The design’s most recognizable trait is its stylized terminal treatment—many strokes end in crisp, flared shapes that read like engraved or stamped forms. In text settings, the narrow columns and high contrast create strong word shapes, but the decorative joints and tight apertures make it most convincing when set with generous size and spacing.
