This serif design combines high-contrast strokes with flared, wedge-like endings that broaden subtly at terminals and serif points. Stems are predominantly straight and vertical, while curves are clean and rounded, producing a refined rhythm with crisp transitions between thick and thin. Capitals feel stately and slightly narrow in stance, with sharp, triangular apexes and controlled bracket-like shaping where strokes meet. Lowercase forms are compact and traditional, with a two-storey “a,” a compact “e,” and a single-storey “g” whose ear and lower loop add a distinctly calligraphic flavor. Figures are lining and fairly open, with notable contrast and tapered details that keep them consistent with the text color.

It is well suited to editorial typography such as magazines, essays, and book interiors where a refined, traditional serif voice is desired. The strong contrast and flared terminals also make it effective for display uses—titles, pull quotes, and premium branding—especially when paired with ample whitespace and careful typesetting.

The overall tone is poised and cultured, projecting a classic editorial seriousness with a touch of calligraphic warmth. Its sharp, high-contrast detailing reads as premium and traditional, suited to content that aims to feel authoritative and carefully composed.

The design appears intended to evoke a classical, print-rooted serif tradition while adding distinctive flared terminals for a sharper, more characterful text color. It balances readability with elegance, aiming to feel authoritative and polished in both headlines and continuous reading.

The typeface maintains a steady baseline and consistent modulation, but allows subtle individuality in letters like the “Q” with a sweeping tail and the “g” with a pronounced ear. The “W” and “M” are structured and vertical, while round letters remain smooth without excessive ornamentation, keeping the design formal rather than decorative.
