A sculpted serif with wedge-like, flared terminals and clearly bracketed joins that give the strokes a carved, slightly calligraphic feel. Curves are full and rounded (notably in O, Q, and the bowls), while horizontals and serifs taper into pointed, triangular ends that create crisp silhouettes. The lowercase shows sturdy, open counters and a steady rhythm, with a two-storey a, a compact ear on g, and a ball-topped j; overall spacing reads even and text color stays solid without looking rigid.

Well-suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts where a confident serif texture is desirable. It also holds up nicely for display use—magazine headlines, pull quotes, and brand marks—where the flared terminals can add distinctive character without sacrificing clarity.

The tone feels editorial and bookish, combining classical seriousness with a touch of warmth from the flared, hand-influenced endings. It projects authority and tradition, but the lively terminals keep it from feeling overly austere.

The design appears intended to blend classic serif proportions with flared, chiseled terminals to achieve a traditional yet distinctive text face. Its consistent rhythm and robust shapes suggest a focus on comfortable readability while offering enough personality for prominent typographic moments.

Capitals have a monumental presence, with strong vertical emphasis and clean, sharp terminals; the Q’s tail and the angled leg on R add recognizable character. Numerals appear old-style–leaning in feel through their softened curves and tapered ends, staying consistent with the serif treatment across the alphabet.
