A serif italic with gently flared stroke endings and softly bracketed serifs that feel drawn rather than mechanically constructed. Strokes show moderate contrast with a consistent, smooth pen-like modulation, and the italic angle is steady across capitals, lowercase, and figures. The lowercase has open bowls and apertures, with a single-storey a and g and a softly looping f; terminals often finish in subtle teardrop-like shapes. Capitals are slightly narrow and elegant, with clean curves and restrained detailing, while numerals follow the same flowing, text-like rhythm and include a distinctive curving 2 and open 4.

Well suited for editorial typography where an italic is used prominently—introductions, pull quotes, captions, and literary titling—as well as refined branding that benefits from a classical, human touch. It can also serve as a primary text face in short-to-medium reading contexts where a lively rhythm is desired.

The overall tone is cultivated and bookish, leaning toward traditional and humanist rather than sharp or technical. Its motion and flare add a warm, expressive cadence that suggests editorial sophistication and a lightly romantic, classical flavor without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended to provide an expressive, readable italic with traditional serif conventions, using flared terminals and controlled contrast to create a graceful, continuous texture in running text.

Spacing reads even in the text sample, and the forms maintain clarity at paragraph scale despite the lively italic construction. The flared endings and curved entry/exit strokes give lines a continuous, slightly handwritten flow, especially visible in letters like n, r, s, and y.
