A heavy, angular display serif with blackletter influence and faceted, chiseled terminals. Strokes are broadly uniform with sharp, wedge-like serifs and frequent diagonal cuts that create notches and pointed joins. Counters tend toward narrow, polygonal shapes, and many letters show slightly irregular, hand-cut geometry that gives the design a lively, carved feel. Uppercase forms are compact and blocky, while the lowercase mixes sturdy verticals with distinctive, stylized details (notably in a, g, k, and t) that emphasize the decorative construction. Numerals follow the same cut-stone logic, with angled corners and bold silhouettes.

Best suited for display use such as posters, headlines, album or event titling, logo wordmarks, and packaging/label designs that want an old-world or gothic character. It works well when set large, where the faceted cuts and wedge serifs can be appreciated and the dense texture becomes a feature rather than a limitation.

The font conveys a medieval and gothic tone—stern, ceremonial, and a bit theatrical. Its sharp edges and dense black shapes read as traditional and authoritative, evoking signage, crests, and old-world print aesthetics while remaining bold and attention-grabbing.

The design appears intended to reinterpret blackletter and early print letterforms into a bold, modern display face with carved, angular detailing. It prioritizes striking silhouette and historic atmosphere over neutral readability, creating a distinctive texture for branding and titling.

Spacing and rhythm in text lean toward chunky, uneven color typical of decorative gothic styles, where texture is part of the appeal. The strong internal angles and narrow apertures can reduce clarity at small sizes, but they enhance the intended dramatic, historic flavor at display scales.
