A high-contrast serif italic with pronounced diagonal stress and a smooth, calligraphic rhythm. Strokes taper sharply into fine hairlines, while main stems and diagonals broaden and subtly flare toward terminals, creating a lively, brush-influenced texture. Serifs are delicate and mostly bracketed, with teardrop-like finishing on some letters and long, sweeping entry/exit strokes that reinforce the slanted motion. Counters are fairly open and the overall fit feels slightly dynamic, with individual letterforms showing gentle width variation typical of an italic text face.

Well-suited to editorial typography where an italic voice needs to carry real presence—pull quotes, intros, captions, and emphasis within serif text. It also fits premium branding and packaging that benefits from a refined, classical tone, as well as invitations or formal communications where a graceful italic is appropriate.

The font reads as cultured and expressive, balancing traditional bookish authority with a sense of motion and flourish. Its contrast and energetic terminals give it a slightly dramatic, editorial tone while remaining restrained enough to feel classical rather than decorative.

Designed to provide an italic with genuine calligraphic character and strong contrast, offering expressive emphasis without losing typographic discipline. The flared terminals and tapered hairlines suggest an intent to echo broad-nib writing while remaining cohesive and legible in paragraph-like settings.

Uppercase forms maintain a stately silhouette but lean into italic calligraphy through tapered horizontals and angled joins; the Q has a prominent, sweeping tail. Lowercase shows a two-storey g with a rounded ear and a flowing, handwritten feel in letters like a, e, and y. Numerals follow the same contrast model with curved, serifed shapes that suit continuous text settings.
