A compact blackletter with dense, vertical construction and sharply faceted strokes. Terminals are cut into pointed wedges and small chamfered angles, creating a fractured, stone-carved rhythm. Counters are tight and mostly enclosed, with strong stem emphasis and crisp joins that maintain a consistent dark texture in words. Capitals are structured and formal with pronounced verticals and minimal roundness; lowercase forms keep a steady x-height with narrow apertures and distinctive, spurred extenders. Numerals follow the same angular, segmented logic and sit as heavy, emblematic figures rather than neutral text digits.

Best suited to display settings where its dense texture and angular detailing can be appreciated—mastheads, logotypes, posters, packaging accents, and title treatments. It also works well for themed applications such as historical, fantasy, or gothic branding, especially when set large with generous line spacing.

The overall tone is traditional and authoritative, evoking manuscripts, heraldry, and old-world signage. Its heavy, angular presence reads as solemn and ceremonial, with a dramatic edge that can feel stern or ominous depending on setting. The consistent darkness and sharp detailing give it a crafted, historical character rather than a casual contemporary feel.

The design appears intended to deliver a strong, traditional blackletter voice with a compact footprint and high visual impact. Its consistent faceting and restrained ornament suggest a goal of maintaining historical flavor while staying orderly enough for bold headline setting.

In continuous text the face produces a strong, even black band, with internal details doing most of the differentiation between letters. Spacing appears relatively tight and the narrow proportions amplify verticality, so short words and headings tend to feel more legible than long paragraphs at small sizes.
