A heavy slab-serif display face with bracketing at joins and a noticeably rough, ink-worn texture. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation and irregular edges, with counters and interiors peppered by speckling that mimics distressed printing. The letterforms are broadly proportioned with sturdy verticals, pronounced serifs, and slightly uneven contours that keep the rhythm lively while remaining clearly upright and legible. Numerals and lowercase share the same robust build, with compact joins and occasional swelling that reinforces the printed, tactile feel.

Best suited to short-to-medium display text such as posters, headlines, product packaging, labels, and signage where the distressed detail can be appreciated. It works especially well when you want a vintage print or rugged brand impression, and should generally be avoided for long body copy or very small sizes where the speckled texture may fill in.

The overall tone is nostalgic and rugged, evoking worn signage, stamped labels, and old poster type. Its distressed surface adds a gritty, handcrafted energy that reads as authentic and slightly rebellious rather than polished or corporate.

The design appears intended to merge a classic slab-serif display structure with a deliberately worn printing effect, giving familiar letterforms a textured, timeworn personality. It prioritizes impact and atmosphere while keeping proportions and construction steady enough for confident headline readability.

The texture is consistent across the set, with deliberate irregularities that become more prominent at larger sizes. The bold silhouettes hold up well despite the distressing, making it suitable for high-impact settings where character is as important as clarity.
