A high-contrast, calligraphic serif with sharply tapered strokes and flared, wedge-like terminals that suggest a broad-pen influence. The letterforms mix smooth, swelling curves with sudden hairline joins, creating a lively rhythm and a slightly irregular, hand-drawn feel without becoming messy. Uppercase shapes are stately and open, with distinctive, sculpted serifs and occasional asymmetry in curves (notably in round letters and diagonals). Lowercase characters show compact bowls and energetic entry/exit strokes, while numerals follow the same dramatic thick–thin pattern, with ornamental curls in figures like 8 and 9.

Best suited to display sizes where its contrast and sculpted terminals can remain crisp and intentional. It works well for editorial headlines, book and magazine titling, cultural branding, event materials, and formal invitations where a traditional yet expressive serif voice is desired.

The overall tone is refined and expressive, evoking bookish sophistication and old-world formality. Its dramatic contrast and pen-like modulation add a sense of ceremony and personality, making text feel curated and slightly theatrical rather than purely utilitarian.

The design appears intended to blend classical serif structure with visible calligraphic modulation, offering a formal typographic voice with a hand-rendered edge. It aims to deliver elegance and drama for prominent text, prioritizing character and texture over minimalism.

In continuous text the strong thick–thin pattern and flaring terminals create a pronounced texture, especially in mixed-case settings. The design’s slight variability in stroke behavior and terminal shaping enhances a crafted, human presence, while maintaining consistent proportions and alignment across the set.
