A calligraphic italic with dramatic thick–thin modulation and a noticeably right-leaning, forward rhythm. Strokes are sharply tapered with pointed terminals and fine hairlines, while heavier strokes flare into wedge-like forms that echo broad-nib movement. Serifs appear as delicate, bracketed flicks rather than rigid slabs, and many letters include subtle entry/exit swashes that create an animated baseline flow. Proportions feel compact and narrow with a comparatively short lowercase body, contrasted by taller ascenders and occasional long, curving descenders.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, pull quotes, book or magazine titling, and brand marks that benefit from a refined handwritten voice. It can also work for formal stationery—invites, programs, and certificates—where its swashy italic character feels appropriate. For longer passages, it will be most comfortable at larger sizes where hairlines and tight counters remain clear.

The overall tone is cultured and ceremonial, suggesting classic penmanship and old-world refinement. Its lively slant and crisp tapers add a sense of flourish and drama, making text feel more performative than neutral. The result reads as poetic and editorial, with an upscale, invitation-like presence.

The design appears intended to emulate formal calligraphy in a typographic, repeatable system—capturing broad-nib contrast, italic momentum, and tasteful flourishes while keeping letterforms coherent across the alphabet and figures.

Counters are small and often teardrop-shaped, reinforcing the sharp contrast and calligraphic stress. Uppercase forms are especially stylized, with sweeping curves and occasional asymmetric stroke endings that give headings a distinctive silhouette. Numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic, with elegant curves and thin connecting strokes.
