A serifed, old-style letterform with uneven, textured edges that mimic worn ink or rough printing. Strokes show modest contrast and a slightly calligraphic construction, with small wedge-like serifs and occasional flared terminals. The rhythm is lively and irregular: curves and joins vary subtly from glyph to glyph, and counters can look slightly pinched or lopsided, reinforcing an intentionally imperfect, handmade finish. Numerals and capitals keep a classic, bookish skeleton while retaining the same distressed contouring.

Well suited for display and short text where an aged, tactile voice is desirable—book covers, poster headlines, themed branding, and product packaging. It can also work for editorial pull quotes or section headers, especially when you want a vintage or handcrafted atmosphere rather than a clean, contemporary finish.

The overall tone feels aged and tactile, like type pulled from a weathered book, broadsheet, or hand-inked label. Its roughness adds a storytelling quality—evoking nostalgia, craft, and a hint of the uncanny—without becoming chaotic or illegible.

The font appears designed to combine a traditional serif structure with deliberate wear and ink texture, producing a historically flavored face that reads like it has been printed, handled, and aged. The goal seems to be adding character and authenticity through controlled irregularity while preserving familiar letterforms.

In running text the texture is consistent enough to hold together, but the distressed perimeter introduces extra visual noise at smaller sizes. The design’s personality comes through most clearly in capitals and curved forms, where the rough terminals and uneven stroke endings are most noticeable.
