This typeface uses a sharp, faceted blackletter build with strong vertical emphasis and compact interior spaces. Strokes are broken into crisp planes with pronounced angles, producing a chiseled rhythm rather than smooth curves; bowls and arches resolve into pointed corners and short diagonals. Uppercase forms feel sturdy and architectural with straight-sided counters, while lowercase letters are narrower and more vertical, with consistent stem weight and wedge-like terminals. Ascenders and descenders are present but restrained, and the numerals follow the same angular construction for a cohesive texture in text.

Best suited to display settings where its dense texture and angular detailing can be appreciated, such as headlines, posters, title treatments, and identity work. It can also work for heritage-forward branding and packaging where a traditional, authoritative voice is desired, but the tight counters and busy texture make it less ideal for small-size continuous reading.

The overall tone is historic and formal, evoking manuscript and inscriptional traditions with a stern, authoritative presence. Its sharp edges and dense color give it a dramatic, ceremonial feel that reads as traditional, gothic, and slightly ominous when set in longer passages.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic blackletter voice with crisp, geometric facetting—balancing ornamental historic cues with a relatively disciplined, repeatable construction for consistent display typography.

Spacing appears intentionally tight with a strong vertical cadence, creating a dark, even typographic color in paragraphs. Distinctive pointed terminals and occasional hooked joins add personality, while the consistent faceting keeps the style unified across caps, lowercase, and figures.
