A compact blackletter with strong vertical emphasis and chiseled, angular contours. Strokes are heavy and fairly even in weight, with crisp triangular terminals and frequent broken-pen junctions that create a faceted, “carved” rhythm. Counters are tight and rectangular, and the overall texture reads dense and dark, especially in lowercase where repeated verticals form an even picket-fence pattern. Capitals are tall and slightly more open than the lowercase, keeping a consistent pointed, architectural silhouette.

Best used for short display settings such as wordmarks, posters, titles, and high-impact headings where the dense blackletter texture is a feature. It also fits packaging and labels that want a historic or craft-heritage mood. For longer passages, larger sizes and generous spacing help maintain clarity.

The font conveys a traditional Gothic tone—formal, severe, and historic. Its sharp terminals and dense color give it an authoritative, old-world feel suited to heraldic, ecclesiastical, or metal-inspired aesthetics. The overall voice is bold and declarative rather than friendly or casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, compact blackletter voice with crisp, geometric fracture points and a consistently dark typographic color. It prioritizes period character and visual authority, producing an engraved, architectural presence that reads strongly in display typography.

The forms rely on strong straight segments with minimal curvature, and many letters use clipped corners that enhance the engraved look. In running text, the repeated vertical strokes can reduce differentiation between similar shapes (notably in sequences of m/n/u), reinforcing the traditional blackletter texture over quick readability.
