A tightly condensed serif with a pronounced rightward slant and a sturdy, poster-like build. Stems are heavy and fairly uniform in weight, with angular, faceted joins that give many letters a chiseled, cut-from-wood feel. Serifs and terminals frequently split into forked or spurred shapes, especially on verticals and mid-height strokes, adding texture and bite without introducing much stroke modulation. The overall rhythm is vertical and compact, with tall ascenders, compact counters, and crisp corners that stay consistent across capitals, lowercase, and figures.

Best suited to large display settings where its condensed proportions and spurred detailing can read clearly—headlines, posters, labels, and storefront-style signage. It can also work for short logotypes or wordmarks that benefit from a vintage, Western-leaning voice, while long passages may feel dense due to the tight width and strong internal texture.

The tone is assertive and old-timey, evoking frontier signage, saloon posters, and vintage broadsides. Its narrow stance and sharp spurs create a tense, energetic cadence that feels urgent and attention-seeking rather than refined. The italic slant adds motion, reinforcing a punchy, headline-driven character.

The design appears intended to deliver a compact, high-impact display voice with historic sign-painting and wood-type cues. By pairing sturdy, uniform strokes with angular carving-like facets and forked terminals, it aims to stay legible at display sizes while projecting a distinctive period flavor.

The distinctive forked terminals create strong internal patterning in words, which can read as decorative texture at smaller sizes. Numerals match the condensed, angular construction and carry the same spurred finishing, helping text and numbers feel like a single system.
