A condensed, high-contrast serif with a lightly irregular, ink-worn surface. Strokes are generally straight and vertical, with occasional slight waviness and small nicks along edges that create a printed, distressed texture. Serifs are present but simplified and blunt rather than delicate, and terminals often end in squared-off cuts. Counters are relatively open for the width, while spacing and widths vary subtly across letters, contributing to an organic, non-mechanical rhythm in both caps and lowercase.

Works best for display typography where texture is an asset: posters, branding lockups, packaging, labels, and event graphics that benefit from a worn print feel. It can also serve short subheads or pull quotes when set with generous tracking and line spacing to keep the distressed details from visually filling in.

The overall tone feels vintage and workmanlike, like type set from worn metal or a rough press run. The distressing reads as authentic and tactile rather than chaotic, giving the face a friendly roughness with a hint of handmade character. It balances sturdiness with a slightly quirky, irregular charm.

The design appears intended to evoke the look of imperfect letterpress or stamped printing—condensed and punchy for space-efficient headlines, while adding surface wear to convey age, tactility, and informal authenticity.

Uppercase forms are compact and upright with firm horizontals, while lowercase keeps a straightforward, readable skeleton. Round letters (O, Q, e) show minor edge chatter that becomes more noticeable at larger sizes, and the figures are similarly straightforward with the same worn-ink texture for a consistent color across mixed text.
