A condensed serif with strong vertical emphasis and pronounced contrast between thick stems and hairline connections. The serifs read as sharp wedges and flared terminals, giving many joins a chiseled, carved quality; several strokes show small triangular notches that add snap and separation at tight corners. Curves are compact and taut, counters are relatively narrow, and the overall rhythm is tightly spaced and columnar. Lowercase forms keep a straightforward, upright construction with a double-storey “g” and compact bowls, while capitals stand tall with crisp, angular finishing.

Best suited to display roles such as headlines, posters, magazine titling, and brand marks that need compact width with strong impact. It can work effectively on book jackets and event materials where a dramatic serif voice is desired, especially at medium-to-large sizes where the fine hairlines and sharp terminals stay clear.

The tone is bold and declarative, with a vintage, print-driven drama that feels at home in headlines. Its sharp wedge endings and tight proportions lend a slightly theatrical, poster-like energy while still reading as formal and authoritative.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum presence in narrow measure while maintaining a classical serif silhouette. The flared, wedge-like endings and notched joins suggest a deliberate blend of traditional editorial typography with a more stylized, attention-grabbing finish for modern display use.

At larger sizes the hairline details and notched joins become part of the character, contributing sparkle and texture; in dense settings these same details can create a busy, high-impact color. Numerals match the condensed stance and carry the same wedge-ended, high-contrast treatment for cohesive titling.
