A heavy, blackletter-influenced display face with chunky, irregular contours and subtly uneven stroke edges that feel hand-cut or brush-inked. Forms are built from broad vertical masses with angular notches, wedge-like terminals, and occasional bulbous swelling, creating a lively, uneven rhythm across words. Counters are relatively small and often asymmetrical, while joins and shoulders show carved-looking facets rather than smooth curves. Lowercase maintains a compact, sturdy presence with distinctive, quirky silhouettes and a slightly wobbly baseline impression despite overall upright construction.

Best suited to display work where texture and atmosphere are desirable: horror or Halloween titles, haunted attraction posters, game titles and UI headers, craft beverage or novelty packaging, and event branding. It performs well at medium-to-large sizes where the carved details and irregular edges can read clearly.

The font projects an eerie, storybook darkness—more mischievous than truly grim—mixing medieval poster energy with spooky, campy theatrics. Its jagged cuts and inky lumps evoke haunted signage, potion labels, and Halloween ephemera, delivering a dramatic tone that reads as both ominous and fun.

The design appears intended to deliver a gothic, hand-hewn headline voice with a spooky twist—prioritizing dramatic silhouette, tactile edge texture, and an aged, woodcut-like personality over neutral readability in small text.

Capitals carry strong, emblem-like silhouettes suited to short words, while the lowercase introduces more idiosyncratic shapes that increase texture in longer lines. Numerals match the heavy, cut-paper feel, with simplified forms and assertive weight that keeps them prominent in display settings.
