A scratchy, hand-rendered serif style with visibly irregular contours and ragged, torn-looking edges. Strokes show strong contrast between thick and thin segments, with wedge-like terminals and angular joins that feel cut rather than drawn. Proportions vary noticeably across letters, producing an uneven rhythm and a deliberately unstable baseline/texture in running text. Counters are generally open but imperfect, and many curves appear faceted, as if carved or ink-bled on textured paper.

Best suited for display applications where texture and personality are desirable—titles, posters, book or album covers, game UI headings, and themed branding for spooky, medieval, or fantasy settings. It can work for short bursts of text (taglines, pull quotes) when the goal is atmosphere over neutrality.

The font conveys a mischievous, occult-leaning mood—part storybook, part old-world spellbook. Its roughness and inconsistencies read as intentional, giving it a quirky, slightly unsettling personality that feels artisanal and theatrical rather than polished.

The design appears intended to mimic an expressive, hand-cut or distressed ink style, prioritizing tactile texture and eccentric letterform quirks. Its high-contrast strokes and jagged finishing are used to create a deliberately imperfect, one-off look that stands out in themed display typography.

At larger sizes the distressed edges and sharp terminals become a key feature; in smaller settings the rugged texture may dominate and reduce clarity. Uppercase letters have a display-like presence, while lowercase remains characterful but irregular, creating a lively, restless color across paragraphs.
