A jagged, angular display face with sharp, knife-like terminals and wedge-cut counters. Strokes show brushy, calligraphic modulation, but edges are intentionally roughened into spikes and hooks, creating an uneven, fractured rhythm. Letterforms lean forward and vary in footprint, with narrow joins, abrupt direction changes, and occasional extended beaks and fins that add a sense of motion and bite. Numerals and capitals keep the same chiseled, irregular geometry, favoring faceted shapes over smooth curves.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as horror or thriller titles, game and entertainment branding, album/playlist art, poster headlines, and seasonal or haunted-event promotions. It can work for punchy pull quotes or labels where atmosphere matters more than continuous readability, especially at larger sizes where the faceted details remain clear.

The overall tone is tense and threatening, evoking horror titles, dark fantasy, and supernatural or occult themes. Its pointed silhouettes and scratchy energy feel urgent and unstable, suggesting danger, mystery, and ritualistic drama rather than refinement or neutrality.

The design appears intended to deliver immediate genre signaling through aggressive, spiked silhouettes and a carved/brush-cut feel. It prioritizes attitude, motion, and texture, producing a dramatic, ominous voice for display typography.

Texture is a major part of the design: edges appear intentionally notched and torn, and internal spaces are often polygonal rather than rounded. The forward slant and varying widths create a lively, restless line, especially in longer words, where the spurs and spikes form a serrated baseline and capline profile.
